We are a community of Christians at Girton College (part of CICCU), a friendly group of individuals who aim to build one another up and encourage one another in faith, show God's love to all we meet and to reach the rest of Girton with the good news about Jesus! If you’re coming up to Cambridge in October 2024, we’d love to invite you to our Freshers’ Getaway 17th-19th Sept – a super fun and amazing chance to investigate what it’s like to live for Jesus at Cambridge and to make great friends prior to arriving! Church Search Breakfast
University is a brilliant time to mature in your relationship with God and to grow as a Christian. The best way to do that is to join a local church. At some point (TBA) we will set up along with some other colleges a 'church search breakfast'. Its a great way to meet some others and hear about the different churches that people weekly!
Weekly gatherings
We will resume our evening meal + bible study/prayer ar some point at the beginning of term - watch this space for where and when (TBA)!

There's tonnes of stuff going on each week in Girton CU and the Cambridge CU (called CICCU). Come and find out what we're up to! - below is just a taster of what goes on around the year.

Anyone at Girton College is super welcome, Christian or not, to join in our gatherings where we spend some time building up our relationships with each other, digging into the Bible and praying together. We will decide on a meeting time early in the Year - we are really keen to find a time that works for as many as possible so if you would like to have a say in the matter, please get in touch!
GCU College Group Gatherings

Unite is CICCU's weekly meeting where we come together to worship God and to hear a great talk from a visiting speaker. This happens every Thursday at 7:30pm

At some point in the Easter Lent Term CICCU host something called 'events week'. A whole week packed full of the good news of Jesus - great for those who want to know a little more about life's greater meaning!

Hi everybody! My name is Peter and I am the current CU rep for Girton College! That means I organise the day-to-day runnings of the Girton College CU, think up creative ways to do outreach events, and am generally the point of call for anything CU related at Girton! If you'd like to know some more about the CU and what we do or think you might like to be involved, then feel free to contact me, I would love to chat with you about the CU or Jesus!
